Where we work
Projects: the assignments we handle, constraint by constraint
Since 2013 we have worked for manufacturers, logistics companies, local authorities and sports venue operators, all over France. This page describes the kind of assignments we carry out, the dominant constraint of each and the points of attention addressed in the study. Named references and a fully costed case appear further down.
- Audit, photometric study, compliance, financing plan, installation and check after installation
- Projects across the whole country, with a site visit for the survey
- Free study: site visit and 3D simulation included

Industry and logistics
Workshops, packaging lines, high-bay warehouses, loading bays.
Local authorities and sport
Gyms, outdoor pitches, roads, car parks, public buildings.
Offices
Open-plan floors, meeting rooms, reception areas, corridors, covered car parks.
Demanding environments
ATEX zones, livestock buildings, wine stores and cellars, damp or corrosive conditions.
Nine situations we handle regularly
Each sheet describes the dominant constraint and the points of attention addressed in the study. Scroll to find the configuration closest to yours.
High-bay logistics warehouse
Renovation of hall lighting under a high roof structure, with narrow aisles between racks.
- Survey of the existing installation and measurement of vertical illuminance at the foot and top of the rack
- Comparison of several narrow-beam optics in DIALux evo
- Presence detection by aisle with timing set to picking flows
- Dimensioned layout plan and specification open to competition
Production workshop and visual inspection stations
Reworking the lighting of a workshop with sorting and quality control stations.
- Identification of the real task areas rather than the room as a whole
- UGR calculated at the observer positions actually occupied
- Choice of a colour rendering index suited to visual inspection
- Maintenance factor set to the workshop's measured dust level
Football pitch and federation classification
Study prior to filing a classification application with the relevant commission.
- Determining the level sought and the associated values to maintain
- Calculation of uniformity over the playing area and of glare for players
- Limiting light spill and flux emitted towards the upper hemisphere
- Acceptance measurements after the works and photometric report
Office floor on a reduction trajectory
Renovation of an office floor under the Éco Énergie Tertiaire scheme.
- Lighting consumption before the works separated from the rest of the electrical load
- Levels set by task under NF EN 12464-1, walls and ceiling included
- Daylight-linked control on the zones along the façade
- Monitoring data ready to carry into the annual declaration
Explosive atmosphere zone
Sizing lighting in a classified zone, based on the zoning supplied by the operator.
- Check that the protection method suits the declared zone
- Allowance for the often less favourable photometry of certified equipment
- Full documentary traceability of the prescribed equipment
- Validation of the achievable level before any order is committed
Wine store and winemaking cellar
Lighting for damp work areas and tasting spaces in a cave setting.
- Protection ratings matched to the constant humidity of the galleries
- Colour rendering suited to visual inspection of the wine's colour
- Task lighting kept separate from visitor ambient lighting
- Check of routes and emergency lighting
Poultry farm building
Reworking lighting exposed to high-pressure washing and lighting programmes.
- Sealing and mechanical strength of the equipment specified in IP and IK
- Floor uniformity checked over the whole rearing area
- Quality of dimming at low levels, without flicker
- Compatibility with the cleaning procedures in place
Local authority roads and car park
Stock diagnosis and road classification on a mixed estate.
- Road classification and application of the NF EN 13201 series
- Night dimming scenarios and switch-off periods
- Limiting flux emitted above the horizontal
- Technical documents usable in public tenders
Second opinion on a study you received
Review of a study received with a quote, before signing, whatever its source.
- Check of the model's consistency with the real building
- Review of the maintenance factor and reflectance values used
- Recalculation of the proposed installation from the manufacturer's photometric files
- Written opinion listing the strong points and the points to correct

A fully costed case
Arrivals hall of a regional airport, lighting in continuous service. The on-site survey and the model showed that the installation could be reduced without losing a single lux on the task areas.
- 398 luminaires before the works, 315 after: the right optic in the right place replaces quantity.
- 12,197 euros of annual consumption before, 3,340 euros after, or 9,027 euros saved every year.
- 27,405 euros for equipment and installation.
- Payback: 37 months. Over five years, the project yields 16,880 euros net, maintenance included.
The study that produced these figures was free, and the plan was offered as long-term leasing over four years, with an instalment covered by the monthly saving.

The services used in these assignments
DIALux photometric study
The forecast calculation: levels, uniformity, glare, layout, power balance.
Lighting audit
Measuring the existing installation: on-site survey, compliance, energy savings and payback by zone.
Compliance with standards
The enforceable check: both thresholds, a twelve-point checklist, the evidence expected.
Does your project look like one of these cases?
Describe it in a few lines. We will tell you which service fits, what it contains and how long it takes. The study is free, site visit included. If your need does not justify a full model, we will tell you.
